Prime Realty Partners, acting on behalf of its client Werktheater Vastgoed B.V., oversaw the sale of the historic building at Oostenburgergracht 75 in Amsterdam.
The property, originally built in 1952 and designed by architect Marius Duintjer, comprises approximately 1,557 sqm of leasable floor space. The former theater building is a unique and distinctive property with a rich history, in which the original auditorium, the recognizable stage, the generous ceiling height, and the historic elements have been preserved. The building has been designated a national historic monument.
After a period of vacancy, the building will be repurposed as a high-end gym. This new use will once again highlight the building’s unique character and give the location a new, dynamic role within the Oostenburg area.
The buyer is a private investor.
The seller was advised on the transaction by Prime Realty Partners.
